NAIROBI, (CAJ News) – ULINZI Stars are hoping to close the gap between them and runaway leaders Gor Mahia when the Kenya Premier League (KPL) resumes with a solitary fixture at the Moi Kisumu Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
The Nakuru-based side is fixtured to play unpredictable Western Stima in a match that is expected to draw a capacity crowd.
Kickoff is at 1500 hours.
Stars, who are placed second on the table, are bubbling with confidence having beaten former champions AFC Leopards 1-0 while Stima also beat City Stars 2-1 over the weekend.
Stima are placed eight on the 16-team league table with 33 points from 24 games played to date while Stars trail the defending champions and leaders Gor who are comfortably atop on 44 points boasting a game in hand.
