NAIROBI, (CAJ News) – GOR Mahia have defended their Kenya Premiership title with four games to spare.
This follows a 1-0 win over Sony Sugar Nyayo National Stadium on Wednesday.
Gor retained their title following a solitary strike from Innocent Wafula.
The victory ensured Gor Mahia, who have amassed 66 points from 26 games, would not be overtaken by second placed Ulinzi Stars, who have amassed 51 points from the same number of games.
Stars have been confirmed as runners-up since third positioned Sofapaka will never pip them. The latter have 42 points.
Meanwhile, Nakuru All Stars are facing relegation, and have to fight tooth and nail in their remaining four matches.
