Nkosazana Dlamini ZumaADANE BIKILA
ETHIOPIA, (CAJ News) – THE Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, has extended warm wishes to Muslims as they celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, following one month of Ramadan.

“I wish all Muslim brothers and sisters a blessed day filled with peace, love, happiness and prosperity,” Dlamini Zuma said from the AUC Headquarters in Ethiopia.

The AUC Chairperson stated that as Muslims mark the end of the month, they should be reminded that Ramadan provides an opportunity for them to continue in their efforts and commitment to helping the less fortunate through charity, particularly those struggling as a result of war, famine and economic hardship.

Given Eid Al-fitr is the beginning of renewed faith and continuation for  all Muslims, she encouraged the Muslims to continue with the shared responsibility, of supporting each other in efforts towards creating a peaceful, prosperous and just Africa and the world.
