Nairobi hosts key Commonwealth ICT forum

NAIROBI, (CAJ News) – KENYA is from Monday scheduled to host the 55th Council Meeting of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO).

The event is slated for Nairobi, the capital, until Wednesday.This forum is the premier ICT conference of the Commonwealth.

Senior policymakers, regulators and industry leaders from across theCommonwealth and beyond and will gather to examine the most topical issuesin the ICT sectors.

It will enable stakeholders, policymakers, regulators and private sectorto discuss the future of mobile technologies and applications.The event will help Identify opportunities in cloud services,e-Governance, open data, e-Commerce and mobile applications.

The CTO is the oldest and largest Commonwealth organisation engaged in multilateral collaboration in the field of ICTs.
