JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – SAP Africa will next week host a business forum to help Algerian businesses prepare for the digital economy.
The forum will be held at the Sofitel Alger in Algiers. It will aim to assist companies to discover new ways to optimize their business processes, collaborate with customers and employees through a simplified experience.
It comes on the back of the business climate in Algeria marked by several challenges and the government continually looking for ways to transform the economy.
Experts believe this makes Algeria a country for the opportunities of the digital economy.
Being the first of its kind to be held in Algeria, the Forum aims to discover the role of technology to promote efficiencies through innovations like cloud and analytics technologies.
“In the midst of economic challenges Algeria is facing, there are breakthrough innovations that offer great opportunities to boost the economy,” said Gilles Lepêtre, Executive Director of SAP French speaking Africa.
The executive said the adoption of innovation would give rise to the emergence of a strong digital economy to help Algerian companies to become more competitive.
“In the complex world of today, simplicity is the key to the company for innovation, growth, and success in transforming traditional practices in new ways to retain customers.”
Participation in the Forum of over 100 delegates including customers, potential customers and SAP partners through various activities of entrepreneurship will be expected.
