NAIROBI, (CAJ News) – INFORMATION technology audit, risk, cybersecurity and governance professionals from around the globe will in August gather in Nairobi, Kenya to discuss knowledge and best practices in their profession.
The professionals will gather under the auspices of ISACA Africa Computer Audit, Control and Security (Africa CACS) Conference to examine the transformational role they play in their organizations.
ISACA is a global association serving more than 140 000 members and certification holders in 180 countries.
Roy Owino, President of the ISACA Kenya Chapter, said ISACA’s Africa CACS was coming at the right time to bring together industry players across Africa and around the world to discuss the critical importance of IT roles
in the region.
“I am looking forward to welcoming attendees to Nairobi in August for this unique conference taking place in Africa for the very first time.”
He said cybersecurity was relevant to all regardless of respective roles in enterprises.
“The global cyber skills shortage significantly impacts Africa, and Africa CACS will share ways to ensure that the pipeline of talent is built.”
CACS, taking place August 8-9 will gather global experts to discuss solutions and strategies in assurance, risk, governance and security, including how these professionals can advance their careers and impact their enterprises.
